Can the counting data be integrated with our own platform?
Yes. People counting cameras and passenger counters can support data integration through HTTP or HTTPS data push, API connection, SDK, RTSP, or customized protocol depending on the model and project requirement. Data can be uploaded in real time or by interval.
What information is needed before choosing a people counter?
Customers should confirm the application scenario, installation height, entrance width, indoor or outdoor environment, lighting condition, power supply, network access, required accuracy, and data integration method. For public transport projects, vehicle type, door width, mounting position, and power input are also important.
Can the people counting camera protect personal privacy?
Yes. The people counting solution can output statistical data such as visitor count, entry count, exit count, direction, and occupancy without transmitting personal identity information. In many projects, the customer platform only receives text-based counting data instead of personal images.
What is a 3D people counting camera?
A 3D people counting camera is a smart sensor that uses binocular stereo vision, depth information, and AI algorithms to count people entering, leaving, passing, or staying in a monitored area.
